Cloves Whole Description
Cloves are the dried flower buds of an evergreen tree belonging to the myrtle family and indigenous to the Moluccas Island.
A flavoursome spice. Push a few whole cloves into an onion to flavour stocks and sauces. Press into scored ham before baking. Great in preserves and pickles. Add to syrup for poaching fuit. Use in Indian curries and when cooking rice.
