Black Olives
3 tbsp
Sliced 
Spaghetti
500 gm
 
Olive Oil
2 tbsp
 
Anchovies
3 whole
 
MasterFoods Freshly Crushed Garlic
2 tsp
 
MasterFoods Freshly Chopped Chilli
1 tsp
 
MasterFoods Black Peppercorns Ground
1/2 tsp
 
Parmesan Cheese
1 cup(s)

Preparation

  1. Cook the spaghetti to packet directions.
  2. Drain in a colander and return to the pan and keep warm.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil in a large heavy-based frying pan.
  4. Add the MasterFoods Freshly Crushed Garlic, MasterFoods Parsley Flakes and MasterFoods Freshly Chopped Chilli and cook stirring constantly, for about 1 minute over medium heat.
  5. Add the undrained, crushed tomatoes to pan, bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the Capers, anchovies and olives and cook, stirring, for a further 5 minutes.
  7. Season to taste with the MasterFoods Ground Black Pepper and stir to combine.
  8. Add the sauce to the pasta and toss gently until the sauce is evenly distributed.
  9. Serve immediately in warm pasta bowls, garnished with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
